Weston Pride 2 was an amazing event, there wasn't a single boring fight, quite the opposite, every fight was exciting. There were fights that went the distance and had you guessing who had one, quick knockouts, supprise knockouts, submissions and even the odd questionable decision - Jay you were robbed ;)
I think the venue and the crowd really complimented the event and made it even better by providing a great atmosphere.
Can't wait until the next event, esspecially if it stands up to the quality of this one! Well done to Stuart, the fighters and the guys backstage.

I was lucky enough to be at Georges fight on the 26th Oct, What a knock out Cello Renda 12 fights 10 wins (5 Ko.s, Ranked 10th in the country ) was shocked that our local lad could drop such a Bomb , 4 fights 4 Ko,s. I hope now the doubters become the believers!!!

If anyone knows of a decent site then let us know. ***************** Regarding Ian Freeman - I've looked on his site -www.ianthemachine.tv as you probably have and seen it is currently unavailable. I would find out if there any MMA clubs near you and just ask them cos if is his training in your area they'll know. If anyone else knows drop in a note!

Sorry to anyone looking for pics from the Boxing show here. This wasn't a Fightclub event but a Steve Yorath event with the Fightclub team helping. I was out the back doing warm ups and corner work for some of the fighters before anyone asks. Look out for more info on the next Fighclub night in October. Get your name down early if you want to compete!

I have added all the pics I've been given so far for Fightclub 9 and Exposed. I'm hoping to be able to put some of the best clips from the DVDs on the Wamafightclub site. Plus I've been told the FC Exposed fight night is going to be on SKY TV. All I can suggest is to add your email to the newsletter (top of page) which will be out monthly with bits of info.

George Katsimpas is off and flying with a first fight win over Leon Owen (2nd Round stoppage). He now has 2 fights 2 KO wins and is now confirmed on the JOE CALZAGHE under card on the 8th JULY in Cardiff. This also includes AMIR KHAN and DANNY WILLIAMS. Good news, Frank Warren has heard of George and is interested in him... Who knows whats around the corner?

FightFactor - This is a project in full motion now, FF has only just started collecting applicants and are into the hundreds already. At the beginning of next year the interviews will be begin with hopefully a hit show being filmed through 2006! Final plans are still to be made due to the incredible growth of the project - look out for top magazine write ups! This site is a project that is still being developed alongside wama.co.uk, any promotion of martial arts is good, after the next fight night Fightclub 8 '15th October - Hutton Moor, Weston' there will hopefully be some new pictures and write ups!!

The opening page will be updated soon and there will be information to highlight top fighters, the womens game and what the next generation has to hold...
At the moment past fighters are on the wama site.
There is though a lack of fight photos which is to be addressed.
The links section is complete so if you have a site of interest to the MA community then drop in the link.

Firstly, congratulations to Stuart and all those involved for putting this small (but rapidly developing) town on the map in the Martial Arts field.
Secondly, It's a commendable act of compassion and generosity performed by all those who organise, participate and contribute to charity and fundraising events. The figures achieved are admirable and fairly distributed.
